Introduction and Camera
Xiaomi has introduced the company’s first ever Android One smartphone. The device sports similar looks to the Mi 5X and one of the most important aspects of the smartphone is that it comes with dual rear cameras. The smartphone also comes with rounded edges which make the Mi A1 easily fit in the palm.
It is equipped with dual 12-megapixel primary shooters which along with a dual-tone LED flash improves low-light photography. The device also comes with a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter which one can use for video calling and selfies.
Performance and Battery
Mi A1 is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 625 chip set which is paired with 4 GB of RAM.
The Xiaomi Mi A1 is backed up by a non-removable Li-Ion 3,080 mAh battery which can keep the device functioning for a longer period.
Storage and Platform
The Xiaomi Mi A1 ships with an onboard storage 64GB which can be expanded via the Hybrid SIM slot using a microSD card.
The smartphone runs stock Android 7.1 Nougat without the proprietary MIUI on top.
