Nature surprises us in many ways, animals, and birds in their own unique way craft some very beautiful and amazing things.
Here, are few amazing things created by animals that will just blow your mind.
#Puffer Fish Circles
Males laboriously flap their fins as they swim along the seafloor, resulting in disrupted sediment and amazing circular patterns. Although the fish are very small. When the circles are finished, females come to inspect them. If they like what they see, they reproduce with the males.
#Bower Bird Nests
Romantic males Bowerbirds build a structure and decorate it with sticks and brightly colored objects in an attempt to attract a mate. The elaborate bowers are simply meant to attract females to the site. Once they land, the male starts puffing himself up and dancing in an effort to seal the deal.
These termite shelters can be more than 10 meters high and 15 meters wide at their base. The mound is constructed out of a mixture of soil, termite saliva and dung. Although the mound appears solid, the structure is incredibly porous. Its walls are filled with tiny holes that allow outside air to enter and permeate the entire structure.
Many spiders use especially fine silk, called gossamer. Ballooning is a behavior in which spiders and some other invertebrates use air-borne dispersal to move between locations.
#Mud Dauber Prisons
The mud daubers build nests in the shape of cylindrical tubes, to capture a prey like a spider. They lay their eggs on the paralyzed spiders inside the nest cell and seal the nests with a mud cap. The larva survives on these paralyzed spiders and also spend the winters inside the nests.
The female O. avosetta digs shallow tunnels in the ground consisting of one or two chambers, each of which it then covers with flower petals glued together with mud. It then places larval food in each chamber and seals it with soil and by folding the petals over.
#The Great Barrier Reef
It is the world’s biggest single structure made by living organisms. This reef structure is composed of and built by billions of tiny organisms, known as coral polyps.
A new species of spiders have been discovered in the Amazon that creates fake spiders as decoys from leaves, debris, and dead insects to misdirect predators.
