The Film – The movie is an Indian biographical draman comedy film directed by R.Balki. The movie is inspired by “The Sanitary Man of Sacred Land”, a short story from of Akshay Kumar’s wife Twinkel Knanna’s book ‘The Legend of Lakshmi Prasad and is inspired by the life of of Arunachalam Muruganantham, a social activist from Tamil Nadu. He focuses and explore on the periodical cycle hygiene of women and girls in the rural areas by innovating a new technique to produce a low cost sanitary napkin.
With the help of this movie the producer want to give a message that how the sanitary napkins are important in the view regards hygiene, and to create awareness and replace the common false believe in India on Sanitary pads.As in the last movie of Akshay Kumar – Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, he is successfully able to educate people about menstrual hygiene.
Padman Box-office Collection on it’s First Day of release
Padman’s first trailer was released on 15th of December,2017 and very soon the title began trending on Twitter with the hashtag #PadManTrailer, in that Akshay is trying to wear a sanitary napkin and the others handing them to his sister became a trending topic. The 2nd poster was released on 25th December which shows kumar holding the cotton in his hand with the words like “Genius, No Shame, Innovation, Unreal Man, Fighter, Real Problem and Passion” written all around.
The Movie is scheduled to be released across 3350 screen worldwide, 2750 screen in India and 600 screens overseas.According to a report the movie has collected approximately 135 corers. The reviews of views are coming very positively and soon it will fill the box office with a huge crowd, Here are come some reviews posted on Twitter.
