There are always interesting stories you’ll find on Youtube, like thrilling, some holds a lot of suspense, drama, love and many more things to watch.  Watching short stories are always a good time pas. So, these are some best five Indian short films:


Neeraj Ghaywan’s latest short film is best enjoyed in the little moments it offers you. The 14-minute short is a snapshot of what every middle-class Indian home is like. Shefali Shah emotes primarily through her expressions. Juice is a film about one such moment for a middle-class Indian woman, in this case, one who has reluctantly given up her career to take care of her family.

The final scene of the film, where Shefali Shah’s eyes do the talking and Manish Chaudhari’s eyes do the listening, reminds us just why great actors bring cinephiles such joy.

#Interior Cafe Night

The 13-minute short revolves around a quaint coffee shop in Kolkata. The cafe owner, Naseeruddin Shah, comes face to face with the love of his life who left him 30 years ago.

As the old lovers reunite, the story cuts to a sort of flashback. The actors are the focal point of the story, and they touch all the right chords with viewers.


The story is about two strangers on a bus journey, their conversations are bit salty and sweet, but at the end, the story will leave you with a smile on your face.


It is about a wife who knows and is resigned to the fact that her husband cheats on her, but then she turns the tables in her own smart way, it is funny and subtle.

#The Virgins

This short film by Sandeep  Varma shows how the ‘modern’ Indian still finds it a pretty big deal to talk about virginity, it is a taboo.
